About Us
Dr. Brent Riley

Dr. Brent Riley received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 2009. He graduated from Reinhardt University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Riley served four years in the U.S. Army Dental Corps at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Piedmont Dental Society, Lynchburg Dental Society, and an active volunteer for the Free Clinic of Central Virginia.
Dr. Riley enjoys attending continuing education classes, staying current with the latest in dental research and technology, playing golf, tennis, exercising, music, camping and spending time with family and friends. He feels very blessed to be back home and looks forward to serving the families of Lynchburg and the surrounding communities.
The grandson of Dr. William Riley and nephew of Dr. Jeff Riley, Dr. Riley grew up in Georgia with his parents, Lynchburg natives Debbie and Mike Riley.
Dr. Bradley Hammitt

Dr. Bradley Hammitt received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia in 2015. Before that, he graduated from Liberty University in 2011 with a degree in Biology. Dr. Hammitt practiced as an associate in rural Orange, Virginia for five years before joining Riley Dental Associates.
He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Virginia Dental Association (VDA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Virginia Academy of General Dentistry (VAGD), and other local organizations. He is currently the Vice President and Editor of the VAGD, and has served as a delegate to both the National AGD as well as a delegate of the Shenandoah Valley to the VDA.
Dr. Hammitt’s passion for dentistry extends to his love for continuing education, where he is diligently pursuing his Fellowship in the AGD. Aside from dentistry, he enjoys racquetball, walks, outdoor activities, as well as spending time with friends around the kitchen table playing board games. He and his wife Corinn are looking forward to reconnecting with old friends from school and building a family here. Dr. Hammitt is excited to use his training and experience to meet and serve the wonderful people who make up our community.
Dr. Jenna S. Chalk

Dr. Chalk grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina. She completed her undergraduate degree at UNC-Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Biology. She went on to attend UNC School of Dentistry, where she met her husband, Dr. Evan Chalk (local oral surgeon). Since graduation in 2011, Dr. Chalk has been in a private practice setting.
She moved to Virginia in May 2014 and loves calling Lynchburg home. Her passion in dentistry is found in forming long-term relationships with patients and taking care of the whole person, not just their smile. She takes regular continuing education through the Spear Campus and Online Platform. She is a member of the Lynchburg Dental Society. Outside the office, Dr. Chalk can be found spending time with her three boys, Hayes, Parker and Landon. Her favorite hobbies are Pilates, being outdoors with her family and spending time with her horse, Guinness.
Dr. Carissa Sprinkle

Dr. Carissa Sprinkle grew up right here in Central Virginia. She received a Bachelor of Science in both Chemistry and Biology from Radford University. Subsequently, she attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where she obtained a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2020. While at the University of Maryland, she took interest in caring for the special needs and geriatric communities.
After graduation, Dr. Sprinkle went on to pursue a one-year advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD) residency at the Veterans Hospital in Martinsburg, WV where she cared for our nation’s veterans. She received specialized training in dental implants and complex prosthetic rehabilitations. In addition, she was able to further her clinical training in general dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and is an active volunteer in her hometown community.
Dr. Sprinkle and her husband, Travis, are very excited to have returned home to Central Virginia where they can be closer to their families. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sprinkle enjoys hiking with her two dogs, spending time with her family and friends, and participating in CrossFit training.
